There is nothing more beautiful than a morning sunrise over the ocean. In the quietness before the world fully wakes, the horizon begins to glow, and soft ribbons of gold stretch across the waters. The sun’s rays glitter on the surface like scattered jewels, dancing gently with each wave. This beautiful moment, returning each day, is a reminder of God’s light and unfailing presence. As darkness gives way to morning, we witness a living parable: light always overcomes the night. In the same way, God’s radiance reaches into the shadowed places of our hearts. “God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). His light does not merely shine around us, it shines within us, warming what has grown cold, revealing what has been hidden, and restoring what feels broken. Through His Son, God sent this divine light into the world. Yet as John 3:19–21 reminds us, some turn away, preferring darkness to light. Still, for those who choose to step into His presence, there is freedom. In His light, we are seen, known, and loved. As the sun rises today, may you open your heart to His healing beams and walk fully in His marvellous light. (Nicky B) Open Bible – bit.ly/1Jo1v5, bit.ly/Joh3v19-21
