A miracle happens when you give. The gift becomes greater in the hands of the receiver than in the hands of the giver. That seems strange. If I give you something worth $10, then surely it is worth $10 whether I have it or you have it. But while this is true at a superficial level, at an impact level, it is not true. Recently, a friend who works at a telecom company got a message to the right people to get them to remove an old telephone line that draped right across the view in front of our house. We would never have been able to arrange this, and the impact of his one act of kindness was amazing. And it didn’t end with us. They also removed the phone line in front of our neighbour, who was also overjoyed. His simple gift had a much larger impact. The same applies to most gifts. The phone call or message we send. The money we give. The time we give to help someone. The gift is greater in the hands of the receiver than in the hands of the giver. However small or insignificant it seems to you, remember, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35). Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Act30v35
