“His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” (Jeremiah 20:9) — I’m sure at some stage you’ve had the experience of having some really exciting news that you just can’t wait to share. If you have to keep the news secret for a while, it will still find a way to radiate from your face and body even if you keep your mouth shut. Good news must be shared because in the sharing it grows in beauty and power. There is no greater good news than the gospel. The word literally means good news. It is the “good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ” (Acts 8:12). Once you learn about this life-changing news it will give you heartburn – the good type. A burning desire in your heart to share it. Because in the sharing it grows in beauty and power. How will you share the good news today?
