How are you feeling this week? Tired, Stressed, Anxious, Overwhelmed with your to-do list? All too often, this is how we feel. What would you choose if someone said they would give you any two gifts you want to help you through your week? Extra money? More time? More patience? More energy? What’s the point in asking this question when no one will offer this help, and even if they did, they couldn’t give us more time or energy or even patience? However, we have a Heavenly Father who knows our needs far better than we do. He asks us to fix our minds on Him and trust Him every day. And then, in return, he will fill us with His two gifts – His perfect peace and His everlasting strength. “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.” (Isaiah 26:3-4). These are gifts beyond imagining and beyond what any human could give us. Life-changing gifts.
