“He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the LORD is his name.” (Amos 5:8). Pleiades, Orion, the earth’s rotation, and evaporation. These four things Amos says God made. Google says this about these; “Pleiades packs more than a handful into a compact bunch that stands apart from nearly everything else in the sky. It is one of brightest star clusters in the sky”. “Orion is a prominent constellation…visible throughout the world”. “If Earth did not rotate on its axis one side would become very hot and the other side would become very cold. Ultimately, life would not have been possible”. “As a major part of the water cycle, salt water from oceans is heated by the sun, evaporating into the air. The water condenses into clouds and returns to earth in the form of rain and snow.” – Things visible by every person and experienced every day. Things we take for granted, yet without which life would not be possible.
