While on a nature walk our guide spoke about the bark spider. Its hairy brown body camouflages it perfectly against a tree, looking like a knot. Each night it builds intricate webs up to 2m long between trees to catch prey. The silk is incredibly tough, apparently one of the strongest biological materials known. Seeing how God has provided so perfectly for one of the smallest creatures reminds us of His care for all creation. Jesus said, “And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need” (Luke 12:29–31). Go into nature and see how God provides for every living thing, then trust Him to care for you. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Luk12v31-32 (Nicky B)
