I’ve just returned from a holiday in the northern hemisphere where it was full summer—only to land back home in the southern hemisphere’s deep winter. The shift from 37°C to 7°C was jarring. It made me reflect on how God created seasons with purpose. Without winter, the land wouldn’t rest. Without rest, there would be no spring flowers, no food, no renewal. It’s the same in our lives. Some seasons are warm and easy, others are cold and difficult. But each one is necessary. God uses every moment—joyful or painful—to shape us, grow us, and remind us of our dependence on Him. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” So if you’re in a winter of the heart right now, know that it’s not wasted. God is preparing you for what’s next. You are not stuck—you are being shaped to blossom. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Ecc3v1 (Hannah H)
