One of the most beautiful things Jesus ever says is His explanation that He is the bread of life. “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35). In a world where we so often feel unfulfilled, Jesus tells us He can satisfy us – now and forever. “For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” (John 6:40). But after hearing this, the Jews began to grumble, and Jesus said, “Stop grumbling among yourselves” (John 6:43). The good news didn’t bring joy, it brought complaint. It’s easy to judge them, but what about us? Does the gospel bring joy to our lives, or do we grumble about small things and miss the greatness of this message? Today, instead of finding reasons to complain, rejoice that in Jesus, you have eternal life. (Craig B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Joh6v35-59
