The stories we tell

The stories we tell

Life is the stories we tell. And the stories we tell are the things we believe. And the things we believe are the things we consume. If we fill our minds with harmful, unhealthy content, we soon begin to view the world like this. We then create scripts for our lives and those around us. Inevitably, stories of tragedy, betrayal, hurt and loss. And sadly, these stories often become our reality. It’s vital, therefore, to tell stories of hope and kindness. Stories that can be lived out in our lives and the lives of those around us. The greatest story ever written is the greatest story we can ever live – the good news of the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. It’s a story of hope and redemption. A story of love and joy. A story of faith and eternity. Immerse yourself in this ultimate story, and it will become your story. It will become your life. It will change everything – now and forever. “When they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptised, both men and women” (Acts 8:12).
