Our Heavenly Father longs to lead us on the best pathway for our lives. But before He directs our steps, He lovingly begins with something deeper, our thoughts. Psalm 94:11 reminds us, “The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.” God understands that our natural thinking often falls short of His wisdom. That’s why He invites us to let go of our limited perspective and receive His. In Isaiah 55:8, the Lord says, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways… For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher… and My thoughts than your thoughts.” When we commit our way to Him, He doesn’t just guide our path, He transforms our mind. Proverbs 16:3 promises, “Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.” As we surrender our plans, God aligns our thoughts with His truth, reshapes our desires, and leads us in ways that bring honour and glory to His name.
