One of the most constant promises in the word of God is that of God’s kingdom on earth. A time when Israel’s Messiah will save her from total destruction and annihilation. A time when righteousness and peace will be the order of the day. When the “meek shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5). When “the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it.” (Proverbs 2:21). For this to happen, the wicked will need to be judged and banished. They do not belong to this world. The wise man Solomon confirms this when he concludes chapter 2 of Proverbs, saying, “The wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it” (Proverbs 2:21).
