The gospels promise us the hope of good news in our trials. However, sometimes the ‘space in between’ makes it hard always to believe. There will always be moments when we are worried about something we are waiting for. Sometimes, the news may not be ‘good’ from our perspective. However, even then, this is not the final destination God has planned for us. In times of extreme uncertainty and hardship, our Almighty Father guarantees us that we will ultimately experience his good news. This good news doesn’t only appear in the gospels. In Hebrews 13:5, God reminds us of the good news promise he also shared thousands of years earlier through Moses, is also for us today: “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you.” Our trials, in God’s love, help us learn important and life-changing lessons. However, the good news is that God will always be by our side and have our best interests at heart. The next time you’re in a difficult experience or waiting on news, always remember that God does have a plan for you. This is not just any news that he has in store for you, but eternally good news. He is in every detail. He will never desert you. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Heb13v5 (Jean-Luc H)
