God is to blame

God is to blame

It’s strange but true that many of us tend to fault those who have our best interests at heart for our own shortcomings. Consider a student who blames their teacher for their poor grades, even though the teacher has gone above and beyond to help them succeed. Or a teenager who blames their friends for feeling isolated, even though those friends have been trying to include them in activities. Yet maybe the most common is blaming God when things go wrong. “Where was God when I needed Him?” or “If this is what God allows, I want nothing to do with Him”. However, is it God who left us or we who left Him? God cares deeply for us, so much that he sent Jesus to die for us. So much that he has given us a book to teach us how to live and his Spirit to guide us. Yet, how often do we ignore Him and turn our back on Him? And then, when life doesn’t go how we want it’s God we blame. “People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the LORD” (Proverbs 19:3). Our greatest foolishness is not our mistakes; it is blaming God. God loves you. Whatever your situation, allow Him to help you. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Pro19v3
