Most of us have felt the joy of our sports team winning. Although you didn’t play, the victory feels like yours—you identify as part of the team. Today, identity is a hot topic. People seek it in sports, politics, hobbies, careers, or even brands. This search often stems from a desire to belong, to be part of something bigger. Yet, many overlook the most profound source of identity—our relationship with God. The joy is fleeting when we base our identity on temporary things, like a winning team or a passing trend. We’re left searching again once the team loses or the trend fades. But when our identity is rooted in God, we find an unshakable foundation, regardless of victories or failures. In Christ, we are part of something eternal—a family, a purpose, and a love beyond anything the world offers. Finding our identity in Him means seeing ourselves as God’s beloved children, created uniquely and purposefully. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people” (1 Peter 2:10). Where are you seeking your identity today? Are you clinging to fleeting things or embracing the unchanging truth of who God says you are? Open Bible – http://bit.ly/1Pe2v10
