New start

New start

“It feels impossible,” I said, staring at the rooms filled with the clutter of our lives. We had to move, and the task seemed overwhelming. Despite not living here long, we had accumulated too much. With the deadline of an expiring lease, we began the daunting task of sorting and packing. Boxes filled, rubbish bags piled up, and we made piles to give away. Slowly, what seemed impossible got done. The house was empty and clean, ready for a fresh start in a new home. This isn’t just about moving houses; it’s about our lives. Over time, our lives get cluttered with issues, regrets, and bad habits. Life becomes uncomfortable and overwhelming. Sometimes, an illness or loss forces us to change; sometimes, it’s a new resolve. We must clear out the emotional baggage to start fresh. But this only works if Jesus is involved. “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). So,  “throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life… let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes” (Ephesians 4:22-23). True renewal comes through Jesus, giving us the chance to live uncluttered and free. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/2Co5v17, http://bit.ly/Eph4v22-23
