Many A.I. apps suffer from “hallucinations – responses filled with untrue information, mixed with facts, making it hard to tell truth from error. Don’t we suffer from human hallucinations too? We imagine people think or say things about us, or we create negative thoughts about ourselves that have no basis in reality. These distortions can harm us and our relationships. So how do we see clearly? By grounding ourselves in divine truth. “Jesus said to the people who believed in him, ‘You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free’” (John 8:31–32). Faithfulness to Jesus anchors us in Truth and sets us free. Free from the lies of the world and from our own damaging illusions. If your life feels weighed down by fear, pain, or self-doubt, ask Jesus to fill you with His Spirit.
